My Journey

When I was a senior in high school, everything changed. During one of my hockey games, I sustained a concussion. The only symptom I noticed at the time was slower reaction time—something subtle, but devastating for a goalie. Not realizing the extent of the injury, I kept playing. And my performance started to slip. I lost confidence. My anxiety spiked. And game after game, I felt like I was falling apart inside.

Even after I was medically cleared and physically healed, my mindset never fully recovered. I went into games with the quiet belief that I was going to fail. And sure enough, that belief played out. I didn’t just lose my edge—I lost the joy I once felt playing the game I loved.

That experience stuck with me.

It’s what led me to mental performance coaching. I became obsessed with understanding how the mind affects performance—how fear, pressure, and doubt can sabotage even the most talented athletes... and how the right mindset can unlock levels of confidence and consistency most players never realize they’re capable of.

Today, I help athletes build the mindset I wish I had during that season of my life.

Whether it’s your son or daughter navigating the ups and downs of competitive sports, or you're an athlete who knows you’re capable of more—I’m here to help. My mission is simple: to make sure no athlete has to feel stuck, lost, or defeated the way I did.

Let’s build a mindset that performs under pressure and thrives beyond the game.
